Lisbon - Between Hills and Silences
2026
Mixed media on screen
Dimensions: 35 × 70 cm
Original and unique work
In this work, I sought to view Lisbon from its inner stillness. I drew inspiration from the hills, from the spaces between the city and the sky, where the noise slows down and time seems suspended. I wanted to convey a Lisbon that is felt rather than described. I use a style that is part figurative and part abstract to fragment the gaze, with lines and impasto that create relief and make the landscape almost a memory, almost silence.
