He studied Fine Arts (1996-1999) at the San Alejandro Academy in Havana, Cuba. He participated in the Experimental Manero de Pintura Workshop (1994-1995) in La Ceiba, Cuba. Flora Painting Grand Prize 2001 - Homage to Rene Portocarrero “Mother Feelings”, Marianao, Cuba. He has lived and worked in Miami since 2004.
