Mutes (César de Barros Amorim) was born in France, Margny Les Compiegne in 1976, returned to Portugal in 1986, currently resides in Arcos de Valdevez. He is a self-taught painter, known for his DesCubismo
Contourism, Pictorial current associated with it.
He has exhibited regularly since 2004. He is represented in several national and foreign collections in
several Continents, is a lover of Cubism. It has already surpassed more than two hundred exhibitions, National and
(14) International.
Since 2018, he has collaborated with the Dadaist Movement “Maintenant” in the USA, in New York.
He owns a line of glasses through Other Worlds Brewing, in Florida, in Miami.
He created a line of sneakers with All Star in 2016 for Brazil.
He has a line of T-shirts of his own design.
He makes several album covers for Portuguese musicians and bands.
He makes book covers for several Portuguese writers.
He painted several musical instruments.
He has curated various exhibitions since 2012.
In 2016 he won the Art Prize Picasso at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
In 2017 he won an Honorable Mention at the Brick Lane Gallery in London, and
