Albuquerque Mendes (1953) is a reference of performance in Portugal. Since in the 1970s, his work has been presented in several national and international museological institutions. She earned notoriety in 1977, when she participated in the zero alternative exposure. In addition to performance, he also paints as a form of expression. In his works, themes relating to religious symbology and self portraits predominate.
