Who is it Vhils?
Large -scale murals and smaller work on wooden doors and panelsAlexandre Farto, also known asVhils, combines detailed figuration with a process where it rips the surfaces to drill or with chemicals to create their images (predominantly portraits). With this subtractive process,VhilsIt combines elements of painting and sculpture and reflects on how the built environment absorbs changes and social development.VhilsHe studied at Central Saint Martins and improved his practice in the graffiti world. In his studio creates engravings, paintings and posters. Vhils He has exposed in several cities around the world and has produced collaborations with various institutions, including the EDP Foundation in Lisbon, Center Pompidou, Barbican Center, Cafa Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.
