Descartes series beyond the raw material.
In 2021, in the midst of creative chaos, the endless collection was born, called the Descartes Series beyond the raw material.
The series is made up of unique pieces produced with discarded wood from different locations, respecting the shape of each part that makes up the creation.
This production process gave rise to the creative line of the Descartes Series language, which allows adding movement to the pieces, as there is the challenge of uniting different types of wood with balance and harmony, between design and raw material.
The series provokes and generates discomfort among the public with pieces of furniture shaped like benches that are outside the visual standard.
The choice of benches to make up most of the pieces in the series is due to the fact that it is furniture that you share and share with other people. In this way, the Descartes Series allows sharing the experience with each piece and sharing feelings.
The Descartes Series creative line process results in pieces that are unique in shape, textures and the age of the wood. This characteristic of the piece is an invitation at first to accommodation that naturally reflects in unconscious discomfort about the possibility of use.
This unconscious discomfort is the key point of the message of each piece, about what is its disposal beyond the raw material?
