Soundwaves 2.0 is an intertwining between artistic languages: visual arts and music and how we interact with it. It's about music! How music makes us feel, how music can save us or change perspectives and ways of thinking or feeling.
Lacrimosa is a painting from the Soundwaves 2.0 collection. They are physical (analog) aesthetics of digital representations generated by a computer. As a kind of building layers, the concept emerges from the digital graphic representations of music as recognizable sound waves; From this starting point, a new and physical representation follows, reproducing the sound wave, in analog format. With this, the artist brings her own language of colors and shapes to the physical world, using a common everyday object, such as staples.
