Rill nasceu em Portugal (Póvoa de Varzim) em 1988. É um artista visual que apresenta a sua visão sobre questões da sociedade contemporânea através das suas pinturas, desenhos ou instalações.
A sua técnica é influenciada pela formação em pintura (mestrado) e design gráfico (licenciatura), áreas em que costumava trabalhar com objetos ou suportes bidimensionais para captar diferentes abordagens e aplicá-las nos seus projetos artísticos. O seu trabalho baseia-se nas interações entre os corpos e o espaço físico.
A pintura e o seu estúdio são os principais motores para o desenvolvimento dos seus projetos artísticos. Assim, ele mostra-nos, através do seu trabalho, experiências, problemas, histórias e, também, memórias, que são frequentemente retratadas como resultado da sua criação artística.
