Ricardo Paula
Ricardo Paula nasceu a 16 de Dezembro de 1964 em Angola.
Designer de formação, desde cedo se dedicou à pintura como forma de expressão.
Expõe individualmente desde 1982, sendo representado pelo MAC – Movimento Arte Contemporânea onde tem apresentado diversas exposições desde 1995.
Possuidor de um estilo inconfundível, a sua obra é uma visão original do mundo, dos seres, das coisas, da condição humana.
Ricardo Paula expõe coletivamente desde 1983 em várias Bienais nacionais e internacionais, em espaços institucionais e privados: Art95 em New York, Hicetnunc/Art Fax em Itália (1995), «Artits for Humanitarian Aid» no Echo-Royal Tropical Institute em Amesterdão (1997), «Timbres d’artistes» em Lausanne na Suíça (1998), Centro Cultural da Embaixada de Portugal em Cabo Verde (2000), entre outras de igual importância.
Integrou o Grupo Paralelo como artista convidado na exposição da Igreja de S. Francisco no Castelo de Palmela.
