Josune García Seguir artista +
Josune García Larrañaga (1983) is a visual artist based in San Sebastián. Since childhood, drawing has been her innate form of communication. However, it wasn't until 2003, while studying art and design in London, that she began expressing her emotions through abstract painting. With an academic background in traditional art and an interrupted design degree at London Metropolitan University, she considers herself a self-taught artist. Through years of experimentation and trial and error, she developed her own pictorial style, the one that offers her the greatest inner fulfillment. Her introspective work is characterized by the use of color and the juxtaposition of spots, textures, and random strokes that create a dance of light and shadow in constant movement. In 2017, she held her first solo exhibition in San Sebastián. Since then, she has participated in exhibitions and fairs nationally and internationally. His paintings are present in private collections in several European countries, as well as in Argentina, China, the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay and South Korea.
