Pedro Pascoinho nasceu em 1972, na figueira da foz onde vive e trabalha.
É um artista autodidata. Expõe individualmente e coletivamente desde 1992.
Participou na Capital Europeia da Cultura Coimbra (2003) e na 38ª Feira de Arte Internacional de Colónia, Alemanha (2004). Desde 2004 que está representado na Feira de Arte Contemporânea de Lisboa.
Pedro Pascoinho, em 2003 foi selecionado para o Prémio Rothschild de Pintura; em 2006, para a 1ª Bienal de Arte Contemporânea de Aveiro.
“O ambiente enigmático e intimista que o artista estabelece é herdeiro de um imaginário cinematográfico norte americano do período pós-Segunda Guerra Mundial, cujos elementos de representação figurativos, personagens e objetos, nos remetem para a passagem do tempo”.
O seu trabalho está representado na Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (PT) , na Embaixada de Portugal em Washington (EUA), na Coleção Norlinda e José Lima, e em inúmeras coleções particulares em Portugal, Espanha, França, Holanda, Dinamarca e Estados Unidos da América.
