Paulo Arraiano é um artista Português, nasceu em Cascais em 1977, onde vive e trabalha até hoje.
licenciou-se em Comunicação pelo ISCEM (Lisboa) e frequentou Artes Plásticas na Ar.Co – Centro de Arte e Visual (Lisboa).
É também co-fundador da re_act contemporary, laboratório e programa de residência [Açores] e no.stereo, artist-run platform.
Conta com inúmeras exposições, individuais e coletivas, nacionais e internacionais, das quais se destacam Dimora Artica [Milão]; Hawaii-Lisbon [Lisboa]; Pivô (S.Paulo); Museu d’Historia da Catalunya (Barcelona).
Arraiano trabalha com o nosso contexto atual, que ele chama de “4a revolução. Referindo-se esta a uma nova realidade antropológico onde por influência do digital e de uma transição para um momento no tempo em que a presença de superinteligência; IA; biotecnologia; nanotecnologia entre outros elementos transformarão a sociedade e realidade como a conhecemos.
Somos espectadores de um novo paradigma em que a ficção científica se transforma exponencialmente em fatos científicos.”
