In the early nineties, Manu Muñoz (Cabo de Gata, Almería, 1977) started, in a totally accidental way, its relation to the visual arts through Graffiti: three years dedicated exclusively to murals and interventions of all kinds.
In 1993 he was invited to participate in a charity collective show, a fact that marked a turn in his career.
In the last half of the nineties, he decided to dedicate himself almost entirely to painting, leaving Graffiti in the background to work and experience new supports and materials. It is during this period that he makes his first exhibition in an art gallery of the Huertas neighborhood in Madrid. From this moment, different participations in collective exhibitions took place in and outside Spain and his creative work became the vital axis of the artist.
After a brief and necessary lethargy during the years 2005 and 2006, he changes himself to London, a city that produces a strong change in the artist and his work. There, in the neighborhood of Chelsea, its exposure "psychotourism" reveals an unexpected turn to the figuration that remains in his work to this day.
