Luís Managem was born in São Tomé and Príncipe in 1987. He has lived in Portugal since he was eight years old. As a child I already knew I wanted to be a Visual Artist.In secondary school and higher education, he attended the Arts and Crafts Workshop and Fine Arts and Multimedia courses.
As a Visual Artist, he is interested in a wide range of themes and explores different media and techniques.
He has been participating in several group exhibitions since 2013 with various works ranging from drawings, paintings, installations and sculptures. And from 2016 onwards he began to participate in several Street Art projects.
The works of Luís Managem It is distinguished by the use of primary and neutral colors as well as the exploration of other materials such as sprays, markers, assemblies, collages, etc. Its language reflects and expresses current themes from political, social and human concerns.
