Luís Luciano Demée foi um pintor português, nascido em Macau a 8 de novembro de 1929 e falecido no Porto, Portugal, em 2014. É considerado uma das figuras mais relevantes da pintura portuguesa do século XX e um dos artistas plásticos mais representativos ligados à história cultural de Macau.
Iniciou a sua formação artística ainda jovem, como discípulo do arquiteto e pintor George Smirnoff, realizando a sua primeira exposição individual em Macau em 1951. Em 1952, recebeu uma bolsa da Caixa Escolar de Macau, que lhe permitiu prosseguir os estudos na Escola Superior de Belas-Artes de Lisboa e, posteriormente, na Escola Superior de Belas-Artes do Porto, onde concluiu o curso de Pintura.
A sua obra evoluiu de uma pintura inicialmente figurativa para uma linguagem progressivamente mais abstrata, centrada na cor, na luz e na memória.
Ao longo da sua carreira, Luís Demée participou em numerosas exposições individuais e coletivas em Portugal e no estrangeiro, com presença em cidades como Lisboa, Porto, Amarante, Matosinhos, Viana do Castelo e Vila Nova de Cerveira, bem como em França, Espanha, Alemanha, Luxemburgo, Brasil e Estados Unidos.
Recebeu diversos prémios e distinções, entre os quais o Prémio Nacional de Pintura Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso e a Medalha de Ouro de Cidadão Emérito, atribuída pelo Governo de Macau. A sua obra integra coleções institucionais e privadas em Portugal e no estrangeiro.
Luís Demée é hoje reconhecido como uma referência incontornável da arte portuguesa contemporânea.
