Luca Freschi (Bolonha, Itália, 1982) é um artista plástico e escultor formado pela Academia de Belas Artes de Bolonha, na secção de pintura. A sua pesquisa artística centra-se na figura humana e na sua alteridade, explorando temas de memória pessoal e coletiva através do uso expressivo do gesso como principal meio de trabalho.
Ao longo da sua trajetória, participou em numerosas exposições individuais e coletivas em Itália e em diversos países da Europa. Entre as mais relevantes destacam-se: a 51ª Edição do Prémio Campigna, na Galeria de Arte Contemporânea Vero Stoppioni de Santa Sofia; a Open 12 – Exposição Internacional de Esculturas e Instalações, na Ilha de San Servolo, em Veneza (2009); e o Prémio OPERA / Fabbrica, conquistado em 2011 no Claustro da Biblioteca Oriani, em Ravenna.
Em 2015, foi finalista na 59ª Edição do Prémio Internacional de Cerâmica de Faenza, e em 2017 foi convidado a participar na Bienal Internacional de Cerâmica de Gyeonggi, na Coreia. No mesmo ano, recebeu menção honrosa na 39ª Exposição e Concurso Internacional de Arte Cerâmica de Gualdo Tadino (Perugia, Itália).
As suas obras têm sido premiadas e integradas em coleções públicas em Itália e Espanha, consolidando o seu reconhecimento internacional. Atualmente, colabora com várias galerias italianas e europeias, continuando a aprofundar a sua investigação sobre a forma, a memória e a fragilidade humana.
