Kiki Lima (Euclides Eustáquio Lima) nasceu a 15 de Abril de 1953, em Ponta do Sol, Ilha de Santo Antão, Cabo Verde. Frequentou o Curso de Desenho e Pintura do C.E.C e o curso de Escultura do Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, Lisboa. Licenciou-se em Design de Comunicação pela Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa. Tem então mais de 40 anos de carreira no âmbito das artes plásticas (inicio em 1969), durante os quais realizou dezenas de exposições individuais e participou em mais de 160 coletivas. Atualmente as suas obras estão presentes nos mais importantes espaços e coleções particulares e institucionais de Arte Contemporânea. Foi autor do painel do frontispício do Pavilhão de Cabo Verde na EXPO’98 – Lisboa. Fundou e dirigiu a KiTraço – Galeria de arte, em Sassoeiros, Portugal, entre Novembro de 2001 e Julho de 2003. Participou assim no mural da Lusofonia, sede da UCCLA, Lisboa e está representado no painel de pintores Cabo-Verdianos na Assembleia Nacional de Cabo Verde. Por outro lado foi também o autor do painel “Receção de Emigrantes” no Aeroporto Amílcar Cabral. Kiki Lima é considerado por muitos críticos e especialistas de Arte o melhor pintor cabo-verdiano de sempre e um dos mais conceituados artistas africanos da atualidade.
