Joan Llaverias é um premiado pintor espanhol contemporâneo. Ele dedicou mais de 20 anos de sua vida à pintura e manteve a abstração como princípio orientador em todo o seu trabalho. No final, Llaverias cria pinturas abstratas que ultrapassam os limites da pintura e experimentam imagens conhecidas de novas maneiras. Sua principal área de interesse é o surgimento das cores, incluindo como elas existem em seu estado natural, como podem ser alteradas durante o processo criativo e a vida que podem adquirir à medida que as imagens são criadas.
