"The All-Absorbing Eye" The smooth, realistic skin is interrupted by rivers of vibrant color—yellows, greens, oranges—that flow, burn, and dissolve boundaries. The black, textured background amplifies the impact, like a void that consumes everything except the essence of the figure.
This "eye" is both metaphor and matter: it sees beyond the surface, but also suffers the weight of excessive vision. It's not just the gaze that dominates; it's the emotional experience of seeing everything—and not being able to unsee it.
The work reflects a contemporary world saturated with stimuli, yet deeply sensitive. It speaks of sensory overload, the collapse of identity, and inner reconstruction after impact. And, above all, it reflects those who allow themselves to feel more.

Iryna Khayetska
Iryna Khayetska is a Ukrainian visual artist, born in 1991, whose passion for painting has been with her since childhood, when colored pencils and paintbrushes were already inseparable companions. Her artistic journey began in Ukraine, but it was in Lisbon, where she moved as a teenager, that she found new avenues for her creative expression.
Specializing in oil, acrylic, and charcoal painting, Iryna combines figurative elements with abstraction, creating works that convey deep emotions and invite reflection. Her inspiration stems from observing nature, people, and the search for harmonious spaces, always reflecting her unique vision of the world.
His work has been presented in several group exhibitions in Portugal, including at the Associação Arca Gallery, at the Hotel The One Palácio da Anunciada and at the Hotel Corinthia, as well as at international events, such as Borders Art Fair in Venice, during the 19th Architecture Biennale, and the Night of Contemporary 2025 in Greece.
Interviewed by NIT magazine and TVI, Iryna shared how art was, and continues to be, a form of therapy and self-discovery. When she paints, she says, "the world stops" and her emotions come to life on canvas. Each work is a reflection of her inner universe, where color, texture, and feeling meet in a continuous dialogue.
