Gilliard Bressan
Gilliard Bressan is an Italian-Portuguese-Brazilian photographer currently based in Lisbon. With a Master's in Multimedia Design from the University of Beira Interior (UBI), he develops visual work deeply connected to urban life and city architecture.
He defines himself as a modern flâneur, a keen observer of city life who transforms fleeting moments into timeless memories. Through photography, he reveals the poetry hidden in the gestures, rhythms, and silences of the streets, celebrating the extraordinary in the ordinary and the beauty in the banal. The city thus becomes his open book—every shadow, facade, or urban detail is a visual story waiting to be told.
He has exhibited his work in several international group shows, including FINALE (Aedra Fine Arts, New Jersey, USA), BLURRED VISIONS (Millepiani, Rome, Italy, 2024) and ESSENCE (The Holy Art Gallery, London, UK, 2024).
Her photographic work has been featured in several international publications such as Vogue Italy (PhotoVogue, 2016), U+MAG (Brazil, 2016), Sicky Magazine (Spain, 2015), Sophie (Argentina, 2015) and Pitch Magazine (Australia, 2015).
Among the recognitions received, the 35AWARDS - 9th International Photo Awards 2023 stands out, where he was distinguished as one of the best photographers in Portugal.
