Cristina Gayarre (Madrid, Espanha, 1975) é artista plástica, licenciada em Belas-Artes pela Universidade Complutense de Madrid (1999), com especialização em gravura. Aperfeiçoou a sua técnica através de cursos com mestres como Paco Aguilar, Julio León, Manuel Ayllón e Yoko Kataoka. Desde 2016 estuda pintura Sumi-E com Gloria Gallego e Yano Koro, aprofundando uma linha estética que combina delicadeza, introspeção e disciplina oriental.
Atualmente vive e trabalha em Madrid, onde se dedica à criação artística centrada nas técnicas de gravura, aquarela e colagem. Em 2023 publicou Asanas, um livro de ilustrações e textos inspirados no universo do ioga, editado pela Editorial Torres Editores.
Com mais de duas décadas de trajetória, Gayarre participou em numerosas exposições individuais e coletivas, além de feiras internacionais de arte como Estampa (Madrid), FIG Bilbao (Festival Internacional de Grabado y Arte sobre Papel de Bilbao) e Affordable Art Fair em cidades como Hong Kong, Londres, Estocolmo, Paris e Nova Iorque.
Entre as suas exposições mais recentes destacam-se Flor de Sakura (Galería Lucía Dueñas, Oviedo, 2024), Grabado, acuarela y collage (Casa Miñana, El Escorial, 2023) e Pintura y grabado (Casa de la Cultura de Torrelodones, 2021). A sua obra reflete uma sensibilidade poética que funde técnicas tradicionais com um olhar contemporâneo, explorando o equilíbrio entre forma, gesto e espiritualidade.
