Catarina Venâncio Geraldes Sobreiro was born in Lisbon, Portugal, January 29, 1975Lives and works in Torres Vedras, Portugal.
In 1998 he received the Grand Jury Prize of the 5th edition of the Fidelidade Mundial Young Painters PrizeIn 2000, he completed the Bachelor's degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.The following year, he attended courses in Illustration and Comics at the Center for Image and Narrative Techniques of the José Azeredo Perdigão Center for Modern Art, of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
Between 2003 and 2012, she attended and taught training in the area of visual arts and cultural programming. She has participated in group exhibitions since 1993, with solo exhibitions being particularly noteworthy. Revised images (Lisbon, 2002) Common places (Óbidos, 2005) and Desert (Torres Vedras, 2006).
Since 2003 he has been responsible for Paços – Torres Vedras Municipal Gallery, a cultural space dedicated to the visual arts.
