Carlos Lobo Seguir artista +
Carlos Lobo (Guimarães, 1974) is a professor at the School of Arts of the Catholic University of Portugal and a researcher at CITAR – Research Centre for Science and Technology of the Arts. He completed his PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts at the same institution. Since 2018 he has coordinated the Master's program in Photography at the School of Arts. In parallel, he works as an independent programmer at CAAA – Centre for Art and Architecture Affairs and edits photography publications at LEBOP.
He received the BES Revelation Prize in 2005 and the Young Creators Prize in 2004. In 2011 he was shortlisted for the BES Photo Award. His work is part of several public and private collections, such as the CACE – Collection of Contemporary Art of the Portuguese State, EDP Foundation, National Photography Collection, Novo Banco, AIP, Vila Flor Cultural Centre, PLMJ Foundation, Norlinda and José Lima Collection, Marin Gaspar Collection, Mário Teixeira da Silva Collection and Ilídio Pinho Foundation.
