Alexandre ROLA Seguir artista +
Alexandre Rola was born in Porto in 1978, where he currently lives and works. He has a master's degree in Urban Interventions from ESAD and a degree in Economics and Graphic Design from the Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Matosinhos. Alexandre Rola stands out for his unique approach, using cardboard cards as a canvas for his paintings. These cards, often associated with the belongings of homeless people, have become the means by which to portray the faces and reality of those marginalized by society. His creations are exhibited in art galleries, where he exposes the theme of people in vulnerable situations. Alexandre Rola seeks to provoke reflections on pressing issues in contemporary society, exploring themes such as social inequality, excessive consumption and the contrast between luxury and exclusion. The work of Alexandre Rola goes beyond the conventional by challenging perceptions, seeking to create a broader social consciousness through artistic expression.
