Silvio Fiorenzo Born in Comiso (Italy) in 1950. Graduated in sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He develops his artistic activity in the fields of sculpture, painting and comics. He taught sculpture at the Liceu Artístico in Milan, at the Liceu Artístico “Caravaggio” and at the Art Institutes of Giussano and Bollate.
Always interested in media art, he has developed a long and fruitful collaboration in the field of advertising with “story boards” and advertising posters, but especially in the comics sector with the most famous publishing houses in the sector, such as Bonelli, Skorpio da Euro Editoriale, Lancio Story, Fumetti d'Arte, Internazionale Ediperiodici, Edizione II Seminatori etc.
In 1990 he lived for a few months in New York, perfected the graphic-narrative technique of North American “Comics”, and two years later he repeated the experience in Argentina where he got to know the artistic environment of Buenos Aires comics and explored the beginnings of artistic life by Hugo Pratt.
Fiorenzo began exhibiting painting and sculpture in 1981 with a personal show in Sicily.
In 1992 he stopped teaching and moved with his family to Portugal. He thus began an artistic pilgrimage between Italy, Spain and Portugal that resulted in numerous individual and collective exhibitions in various cities such as Lisbon, Porto, Setúbal, Seville, Barcelona, without neglecting his homeland and the city that saw his artistic birth.
