Natália Gromicho is a Portuguese visual artist born in Lisbon, internationally recognized for her expressionist style and the vibrant energy she imbues her works. Since 1995, she has built a solid career, with over 100 solo and group exhibitions in several countries, including Italy, Brazil, Australia, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Macau, and East Timor.

Formation and Influences

Gromicho graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and furthered her studies at the Ar.Co school, where she attended intensive painting and ceramics courses. Her diverse background is reflected in the technical and conceptual richness of her works, which explore themes such as nature, culture, and the human condition. The artist uses contrasts of scale, superimpositions, and reflections to create compositions that challenge perception and evoke a new form of realism, influenced by concepts of the modernist avant-garde.
