Maisa Champalimaud
Born in Lisbon, Maísa Champalimaud is a Portuguese-Brazilian artist who has developed her own language, distinguished by her freedom and chromatic intensity. Her work is the result of an impulsive and intuitive creative process, in which each canvas represents a fusion of cultural influences and personal experiences.
With a career already established for almost 15 years, Maísa has exhibited her work in several Portuguese cities, including Lisbon, Braga, Seia, Gaia, Tavira, and Faro. Additionally, she has participated in international projects, taking her art to countries such as Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Some of her works are part of renowned private and institutional collections, including the White House. The artist has also explored her creativity by creating murals for public spaces, hotels, and prestigious buildings.
"Underwater" at the Verride Hotel, "Wonderland" at Taguspark, and "Poptrait" at ORIQ. He was a finalist for the Portalegre Tapestry Prize and continues to expand his artistic presence through collaborations with LACS Lisboa e Cascais, where he has exhibited his paintings.
