Luís Queimadela é um artista nascido em Coimbra, Portugal, cidade onde iniciou o seu contacto com a pintura.
Além da sua carreira nas artes, Queimadela exerce funções como docente e, na esfera pessoal, dedica-se ao andebol. A sua atividade estendeu-se à produção de trabalhos de escultura e decoração, que o levaram a São Pedro do Sul, Portugal. Nessa localidade, assumiu o desafio de lecionar formação profissional em canteiro-restaurador (trabalho em pedra) no âmbito do Projeto Carvalhais, uma função que desempenhou durante aproximadamente seis anos.
Mais recentemente, nos últimos cinco anos, o artista tem-se concentrado na área da decoração e design, com foco especial em projetos para o setor hoteleiro em Portugal. O seu portfólio inclui o design de interiores para unidades como o Hotel D. Inês (Coimbra), o Hotel D. Jorge (Grândola), o Hotel Solar do Rio e o Hotel Lisboa (ambos em São Pedro do Sul), e a Residência Turística Vila dos Navegantes. Queimadela também desenvolveu design de objetos e projetos com resinas, realizando trabalhos em diversas regiões de Portugal, incluindo o Funchal e Ponta Delgada (ilhas) e as cidades de Lisboa e Viana do Castelo (continente).
A sua produção artística destaca-se pela exposição de sentimentos que a sociedade contemporânea, marcada pelo virtual e pela repressão do toque, considera estranhos e privados. As obras de Queimadela procuram manifestar fisicamente essas emoções, refletindo sobre a natureza do toque virtual dependente de uma única vontade.
A sua arte está presente em várias coleções e espaços públicos por Portugal, nomeadamente em Viseu, Coimbra, São João da Madeira, Castelo de Paiva, Sernancelhe, Vouzela, Vila Pouca de Aguiar, São Pedro do Sul, Carvalhais e Oliveira do Hospital.
