Luis Medina

Luis Medina, born in Santander, Spain, is a visual artist with a vast national and international exhibition history. Since 2008, he has presented solo exhibitions at renowned venues such as the CNFoto in Torrelavega, the Ormolú Gallery in Pamplona, the Tabacalera Civic Center and the Gran Casino Sardinero in Santander, the Espiral Gallery in Noja, and the Marita Segovia Gallery in Madrid, among others.

His work has been featured at major art fairs and events, including ART Madrid, ART Montpellier, FLECHARTE, FIG Bilbao, SIANOJA, and the Battersea Decorative Fair in London, collaborating with prestigious galleries. He has also participated in group exhibitions in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and the Netherlands, such as the "Open Doors" Forum in Évora, as well as shows in Milan, Padua, Brescia, and Vicenza.

He has been a finalist and shortlisted for numerous national and international awards, including the San Jordi Bellas Artes Award, the Rotary Club National Painting Award, the Miquel Viladrich International Painting Award, the Ciudad de Alcalá Visual Arts Award, and the Eugenio Hermoso Award, among others. Between 2012 and 2025, his career included participation in prominent competitions and events, consolidating a continuous presence in the contemporary art scene.
