Jorge Lancinha
Jorge Lancinha was born in Évora, Portugal, in 1975He/She is a finalist in the course of Painting degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon.
He received, in 1996, a Honorable Mention in Sculpture node Jovarte Prize 95, in Loures.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he participated in several exhibitions in Portugal, highlighting In the Great Silence (Ara Gallery, Lisbon, 2000) Printmaking at FBAUL (Galeria Municipal Gymnásio, Lisbon, 2000) Bouquet Cru (Évora-Arte Gallery, Évora, 2000) for ADOLFO PRIMUS and ANA AMA (FBAUL Cistern, Lisbon, 1999) 10 trout and several birds (Convent of the Greeting, Montemor-o-Novo, 1999) 3.27 (Ara Gallery, Lisbon, 1998), as well as exhibitions at Arco Gallery (Faro), Hangar K7 (Oeiras Foundry), Montemor-o-Novo Municipal Gallery, Évora Municipal Gallery, Portuguese Red Cross (Lisbon), Eng.º Foundation António de Almeida (Porto), Culturgest (Lisbon) and Palácio D. Manuel (Évora).
His work is part of institutional and private collections, including Barclays Bank, Évora City Council, Pardal Monteiro, Architects, among others.
