Joana Araújo Seguir artista +
Joana Araújo, nascida em Viseu em 1998, iniciou a sua formação artística no Conservatório Regional de Música Dr. José Azeredo Perdigão, onde frequentou o Curso Básico de Música entre 2008 e 2013. Em 2017 participou no YETI – Youth Education Through Illustration, e em 2018 frequentou a formação Da Grade ao Verniz, com Leonel Costa, no Atelier Daniel Africano. Entre 2016 e 2020 concluiu a Licenciatura em Artes Plásticas – Ramo de Pintura, na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto.
Participou em diversas exposições coletivas, entre as quais: em 2025, Se eu quiser falar com Deus, no CCVF, Palácio Vila Flor, Guimarães; em 2024, na Bienal Internacional de Arte Jovem de Vila Verde; em 2023, Samhain, na Purslane Gallery, Motus Sensus, no AL859 Art Space, Porto, a 7ª Bienal Internacional de Arte de Espinho no Museu Municipal de Espinho, A Cor do Tempo na Galeria Tony-Vitorino, Vieira de Leiria, e a XVIII edição do Prémio de Pintura e Escultura de Sintra – D. Fernando II, no MU.SA; em 2021, Sopas de Cavalo Cansado, no oMuseu – Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto, a Mostra Coletiva de Arte e Ilustração na Cava Galeria, Viseu, e a 6ª Bienal Internacional de Arte de Espinho no Museu Municipal de Espinho; em 2020, Em torno da Penumbra (coletiva com Luís Ferreira) na Cava Galeria, Viseu, a 18ª edição do Concurso Aveiro Jovem Criador 2019, e Desenhar na Incerteza – Do processo ao projeto #3 no oMuseu – Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto; e em 2019, SANDBOX, na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto, bem como RELIGAR, no âmbito da residência artística Deslocações #02, no Museu Internacional de Escultura Contemporânea de Santo Tirso.
Em 2020, Joana Araújo recebeu o Prémio de Pintura Aveiro Jovem Criador (18–35), referente a 2019. As suas obras integram coleções públicas como o Museu Santa Joana, em Aveiro, e o espólio da Bienal Internacional de Arte Jovem de Vila Verde.
