Inês Carvalhinho Seguir artista +
Inês Carvalhinho (born in Porto, Portugal, in 1987) is a Portuguese visual artist whose work is deeply influenced by nature and for his professional career while architect, where he deepened his understanding of form, space, and materiality. His compositions explore the relief, texture and organicity of the surfaces, establishing a constant dialogue between the natural and the constructed, and between intuitive gesture and structural precision. Through an aesthetic minimalist and tactile, and with a working method characterized by constant experimentation, Inês Carvalhinho seeks the balance between structure and fluidityUsing the language of textures and color as a means of sensitive expression, her art invites contemplation of the forms that inhabit everyday life, transforming simplicity into presence and balance. The artist has been consolidating her production through creations that dialogue with architecture, the natural environment, and personal memory. Portugal, participated in several group exhibitions, notably at the Vila Nova de Gaia Municipal Youth Center (2002), at Quinta da Bonjoia, Porto (2004), and in the "Young Creator" exhibition in Aveiro (2006).
