Hugo Castilho cria um universo íntimo, ao juntar o seu gosto pela fantasia e do desenho com relevo da linha. Assente na superfície o desenho, modelado e pintado, emerge enquanto obra tridimensional. Neste encontro, a vida é celebrada de forma inclusiva, ética e humorística, ao abraçar enquanto veículos de expressão figurativa: humanos, animais e natureza. Hugo Castilho nasceu em Setúbal em 1995, licenciou-se em Artes Visuais - variante de Multimédia em 2016, na Universidade de Évora e, em 2021, concluiu o Mestrado em Pintura na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Exibiu individualmente o seu trabalho artístico em 2017 e 2019 no Espaço das Artes da Casa da Cultura de Setúbal, e em 2022 na Galeria Arte Periférica no Centro Cultural de Belém. Coletivamente expôs na Zetgallery em Braga em 2019, e na Drawing Room Lisboa na Sociedade Nacional de Belas-Artes em 2021, representado pela Galeria Arte Periférica. Atualmente, encontra-se focado em produzir pinturas sobre alto-relevo e escreve romances de não ficção.
