Gerke Rienks He is a Dutch artist, born in Groningen, NetherlandsShe began her artistic career at the age of 16 and later moved to Amsterdam, Netherlandswhere he developed his professional career.

Gerke Rienks uses a highly recognizable technique associated with anamorphic art. He employs a method called paper cuts, through which he creates visual compositions that, at first glance, appear to be simple vertical black stripes. However, when viewed from a distance, these lines align and clearly reveal human figures, demonstrating a play between perception, optical illusion, and representation.
