Geometric Seguir artista +
Lines, angles and shapes are the main traits of geometric works of art.At the beginning of the twentieth century, with constructivism and suprematism, in Russia, we see the exuberance of the line and the way never before seen. Using tools such as ruler or compass, artists like Kazimir Malevich and Wassily Kandinsky focus on geometry as a center for their production. Subsequently, in the 1930s the concrete art movement is consolidated with Theo Van Doesburg, Sophie Taeuber-ARP and Verena Loewensberg. Throughout the 1960s, post-pictorial abstraction arises with Frank Stella and minimalism with artists like Donald Judd, Richard Serra and Robert Morris, which are based on the pure form of the object.
