Evelina Oliveira
Evelina Oliveira was born in Abrantes in 1961.
She holds a Master's degree in Artistic Illustration from the University of Évora/ISEC.
Since 2004 she has been illustrating texts, initially at the invitation of José Oliveira for the album Rosa, minha irmã Rosa, by Alice Vieira, and by Campo das Letras for the book Não Posso Comer Sem Limão, by José António Gomes.
From then on, he illustrated more than 20 children's and young adult books for various authors: Manuel António Pina, Nuno Júdice, J. Jorge Letria, Manuel Jorge Marmelo, Carla Manuela Mendes, Mário Cláudio.
She co-authored the text for the book The Triangular Dog, with Maria Leonor Barbosa Soares.
She has participated in exhibitions of national and international illustrators, including: São João da Madeira Art Center, Fnac (Porto), Augusto Cabrita Auditorium (Barreiro), Art for the City – commemorative exhibition for the 20th anniversary of AMI – curated by Laura Castro (Porto) and the 1st and 3rd National Meeting of Illustration by Women (São João da Madeira).
