Cabral Pinto (b. 1955) is a Portuguese visual artist and designer, born in Amarante, Portugal, with a career deeply linked to cultural promotion and the exploration of contemporary languages such as painting, drawing, and digital art. She graduated in Design by the Porto School of Fine Arts, in Portugal, an academic background that influenced his ability to visually structure and the compositional rigor present throughout his work. Since the 1980s, he has developed a solid career, marked by a constant aesthetic restlessness that has led him to fuse traditional techniques with new technologies, being one of the pioneers in the introduction of digital art and video in collective exhibitions in the north of the country.
As Artistic Director and one of the main driving forces behind Cerveira International Art Biennial, in Portugal, played a fundamental role in the decentralization of contemporary art and in promoting dialogue between national and international artists. His personal work is frequently characterized by the presence of anthropomorphic and symbolic figures, immersed in environments of great chromatic intensity that evoke both Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism. He has exhibited regularly at Spainin France and in BrazilIn addition to having his work represented in important public and private collections, such as those of the Cerveira Biennial Foundation and various municipalities in PortugalCurrently, he remains an unavoidable figure in cultural management and artistic creation, dividing his time between his studio and organizing events that promote Portuguese art abroad.
