The Brazilian artist, Elisa Rezende (1992) was established in Portugal, having established residence in several places such as the United Kingdom, Finland and Australia. Her art is raw, colorful, chaotic and full of layers. Through imperfect brushstrokes and spontaneous words, it explores the unconscious daydreams, the superimposed and intense feelings and the life pulse, always changing and full of complexities. The artist feels in continuous expansion of consciousness, always trying to bring all his metamorphoses to his production. Through his inner work, ELISA currently explores the scenarios of screen painting and plastic art in objects, digital compositions and tattoo - processes that take place in an intimate regimen inside their studio in Cascais.
"I'm raw and chaotic. Sometimes my chaos arises exactly because it can not be less raw. I am colic, moved at various times by the force of anger, for the need to affirm a woman in a macho and patriarchal world, and in a constant healing process. This produces in me an insatiable will to swallow the world, to live everything today, to be indulgent. It is impossible to live in this state of constant drive and at the same time a certain melancholy without existing chaos and at the same time without letting all this transparse the world around me. I am the result of several interior processes and so is it, too, my work. "
