The figure of the ballerina emerges and, simultaneously, seems to dissolve into a space constructed of light, matter, and fragmentation, as if the body remained suspended between what we see and what we only feel.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI worked primarily with a palette knife, allowing the impasto and relief to take on a physical presence on the canvas surface.
