However, as time progressed, the figurative elements in his paintings began to dissipate, paving the way for a deeper exploration of pure abstraction. Currently, he focuses his creativity on the search for the purity of abstraction, with only a brief allusion to the expressionist abstraction of his previous works. A notable twist in his most recent work is the introduction of “line paintings.” In these works, Francisco Santos explores the power of colored lines, whether wide or narrow, to create unique artistic compositions.
